We were there during the time of the 2015 World Cup soccer competition, when Colombia did so well. It was really fun being there then!

Mompós
Mompós was a favorite place of Simon Bolivar. The city and region gave him of lot of soldiers and material support. The city, although not mentioned by name in his books, figured significantly in the imagination of Nobel Prize winner Gabriel Garcia-Márquez. It lies on the banks of the Magdalena River.
